Shayne McDaniel: Proposition 8 - Where do you stand?

For many years proposition 8 has been in great debate. The issue in debate is whether or not Gays and Lesbians should be allowed to wed and the same marriage rights as heterosexual relationships.

This issue is simply put should Gays and Lesbians be allowed to wed or some of the benefits that heterosexual married couples are allowed such as health benefits when in a committed (married) relationship?

Another question to ask is should the majority be allowed to put restrictions or limitations on gay and lesbian relationships? Should we as Americans just agree to disagree and let others live as they wish or should we force our views on others?
